VITRONIC and AKL-tec agree sales cooperation for 3-dimensional pallet measurement
The demand for transparent processes in the courier and express parcel delivery industries is constantly increasing: even pallets and bulky goods must be reliably captured and identified, in order for them to be treated separately. This can only efficiently take place when the goods are accurately 3-dimensionally measured and weighed. To be able to provide this service VITRONIC and AKL-tec have agreed upon a sales cooperation.
VITRONIC is to use the pallet-measuring system from AKL-tec to supplement its camera-based identification solutions for the courier and express parcel delivery industry. The product portfolio now encompasses the certified measurement of small packages up to complete pallets. AKL-tec is the expert provider for the precise measuring and weighing of pallets. VITRONIC is now re-sponsible for selling the proven measurement systems to relevant sectors of the courier and express parcel delivery industry. At the same time AKL-tec is to offer the established camera-based iden-tification technology from VITRONIC.
